Which motif/scene is typical Berlin for you?
Open spaces, with people gathering inside in the middle of winter with fogged-up windows or crowding all the outdoor spaces in the middle of summer. There’s always music playing (maybe someone is doing a vinyl set), and beers in every hand—microcosms like this everywhere.
What makes Berlin unique for you?
I think it’s the people that make it so special. The art scene and its variety. People are doing things all the time, and there’s room for everyone to create something.
Your favorite place in Berlin is …
The Hansaviertel area and its buildings. Incredible location to get inspired and use as a stage to create. Along with the Tiergarten, that giant and beautiful forest in the middle of the city, where you can get away from the noise and movement outside.
